2014: Doug Stephen started testing his Nashville Chicken and Classic Burger recipes at the critically acclaimed merchants workshop in East Vancouver, over a period of 4 years he perfected his recipes.
2018: Downlow Chicken Shack launches and is an immediate hit in East Vancouver, Canada.
2020: Downlow Burgers launches in The American, Vancouver after years of popping up in Downlow Chicken Shack, becoming another iconic spot.
2021: The name Real Burger is suggested by a friend, and is brought to life by Todd Beebe, with Gerick's approval.

2022: With Peter’s experience from the start of Downlow, Peter over months, tests and perfects the recipes with New Zealand ingredients for the launch of Real Burger with Doug’s blessing.
